A Day In The Life
The RSM, National Sales under the leadership of the National Sales Director is responsible for increasing the demand for GSFS products across the United States by; 1) utilizing existing relationships with Agents and Agencies, Consolidators and National Retailers to introduce GSFS Group products and services, proven ability to move these relationships to be exclusive partner, 2) use existing relationships with aftermarket consumer product companies to establish and grow new revenue streams with product placement, 3) strengthen existing relationships with Consolidators and large dealer groups outside the GSD region by (re) introducing GSFS Group products and services, 4) identify opportunities to increase sales volume, profitability, and value of GSFS to existing NSD partners, and 5) Liaise between clients and cross-functional internal teams, ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and improve the entire client experience.
As a Regional Sales Manager you will:
Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to client account management
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, client stakeholders and executive sponsors
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Identify and grow opportunities within book of business and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
Responsible for daily interaction with Agency Principals, Consolidators, and National Retailers; coordination of appropriate sales development in the field and for managing sales results, which yield measurable revenue growth to GSFS.
Develop operating plans for the most effective and efficient utilization of manpower resources and prioritization of servicing issues.
Responsible for the prospecting, sales process, product installations and development of agent/agency, Consolidator, and National Retailer accounts, utilizing internal resources as appropriate.
Where appropriate, coordinate executive management input into sales, income development and relationship building activities.
Negotiate and resolve program agreements with clients and associated companies.
Recommend new products and markets; provide supporting sales/marketing and financial rationale.
What We Need From You
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University Req
5-7 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required
Ability to apply common sense.
DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Required
Group II Insurance License Preferred

Physical Requirements
The job requires significant domestic travel. As a result, the duties for this position occur in various places including, but not limited to an office environment, car dealerships, and semi-industrial settings. The associate will regularly be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions. The noise level for this position will vary and the associate may be exposed to loud noise levels.
