Platform F&I Director - Automotive - Pennsylvania Market
The Platform F&I Director is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the Finance & Insurance operations across multiple dealership locations within a platform or region. This strategic leadership role ensures compliance, maximizes profitability, improves customer experience, and drives the performance of F&I departments in alignment with company goals. The F&I Director will mentor store-level F&I Managers and collaborate with General Managers to implement best practices, processes, and training across all locations.

Compensation for this position is $120,000/year with quarterly commissions.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the F&I performance across a group of dealerships, ensuring all stores meet or exceed company benchmarks for product penetration, PVR, and compliance.
Develop and implement strategic plans to improve F&I product sales and streamline processes.
Provide ongoing coaching, training, and mentoring to F&I Managers and staff to enhance skills, ethics, and sales effectiveness.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present actionable insights to executive leadership.
Ensure all F&I operations are compliant with federal, state, and local laws and adhere to company policies and standards.
Establish relationships with lenders, product providers, and compliance consultants to support the growth of F&I programs.
Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and developing high-performing F&I professionals across the platform.
Lead regular performance reviews and ensure consistent application of sales and compliance processes.
Implement technology and tools that improve workflow, reporting, and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with dealership GMs, Sales Directors, and Service Directors to ensure alignment of sales goals and customer experience initiatives.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in F&I management, including at least 2 years in a multi-store or regional leadership role.
Proven track record of increasing F&I revenue, improving product penetration, and leading high-performing teams.
Strong understanding of automotive finance, lending practices, compliance requirements, and F&I product knowledge.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on financial and operational metrics.
Proficiency in F&I software tools, CRM systems, and reporting dashboards.
High ethical standards and a deep commitment to compliance and customer satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
