Position Summary
The Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service department, leading a team of service advisors and technicians to ensure efficient, high-quality service for every customer. This role plays a key part in upholding dealership standards, improving operational performance, and fostering a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Hire, train, and motivate all service staff members
Lead and manage the service department team to meet performance and customer satisfaction goals
Monitor and improve service workflows, repair timelines, and quality of work
Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care
Foster a positive team environment built on communication, accountability, and mutual support
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation
Track and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
Maintain compliance with industry standards, as well as state and federal guidelines
Qualifications
Experience in dealership service management
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license
