Overview

Position Summary

The Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service department, leading a team of service advisors and technicians to ensure efficient, high-quality service for every customer. This role plays a key part in upholding dealership standards, improving operational performance, and fostering a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and motivate all service staff members

  • Lead and manage the service department team to meet performance and customer satisfaction goals

  • Monitor and improve service workflows, repair timelines, and quality of work

  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care

  • Foster a positive team environment built on communication, accountability, and mutual support

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement

  • Understands OSHA regulations and hazardous waste disposal
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards, as well as state and federal guidelines

Qualifications

  • Experience in dealership service management

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Valid driver’s license
