Service Director - Automotive Dealership

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven, and experienced Service Director to lead operations within the highest volume dealer group in the Lufkin market. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service department, ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and consistent performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the service department
  • Drive service revenue growth and maximize departmental profitability
  • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction scores and retention
  • Establish and maintain effective processes for workflow, scheduling, and productivity
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate service managers, advisors, and technicians
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and company policies
  • Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement
  • Oversee warranty administration and ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain proper staffing levels and support employee development initiatives
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to support overall dealership performance
  • Address and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner

Requirements

This position requires strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage a high-volume service operation. The ideal candidate must demonstrate effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of automotive service management experience
  • Proven track record of managing high-volume service departments
