Sales Manager – Automotive Dealership
Our dealership is seeking a results-focused and highly motivated Sales Manager to lead the sales team in achieving performance goals and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position is responsible for driving sales performance, managing daily operations, and supporting the development of a high-performing sales staff.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives
Monitor individual and team performance, providing coaching and direction as needed
Structure and desk deals to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
Oversee the sales process from initial customer contact through vehicle delivery
Maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and industry regulations
Collaborate with the F&I department to support deal completion and customer experience
Manage inventory levels and work closely with management to maintain appropriate stock
Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to enhance team effectiveness
Review and analyze sales reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Requirements
This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to performance excellence, the ability to motivate a team, and a professional approach to customer interactions.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Three to five years of automotive sales experience, with at least one to two years in a supervisory or management role
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a dealership environment
