F&I Manager – Automotive Dealership
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced F&I (Finance & Insurance) Manager to join our automotive dealership team. The F&I Manager is responsible for providing customers with a complete overview of their vehicle purchase, including financing options, product offerings, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Offer vehicle financing and insurance products to customers, ensuring a smooth and transparent process
Secure approvals through various financial institutions and present financing options to customers
Prepare accurate paperwork for submission to lenders and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain knowledge of current programs and rates offered by finance sources
Consistently achieve or exceed dealership performance standards in product penetration and customer satisfaction
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless vehicle delivery
Ensure all deals are fully compliant with regulatory guidelines
Monitor and improve department profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of automotive F&I experience required
Strong understanding of financing and leasing practices
Proven track record of consistent product penetration and gross profit performance
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all transactions
Must be self-motivated, professional, and driven to exceed performance goals
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
3+ years of automotive F&I experience in a high-volume dealership
Compensation
Finance pay structure with performance incentives
Top performers may earn up to 21% of gross profit based on performance metrics
