About the Position

A well-established automotive dealership in the East Valley is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Parts Manager to lead our parts department operations. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of parts inventory, vendor relationships, and team leadership, along with a commitment to efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional internal and external customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the parts department to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of internal and external orders.
  2. Maintain optimal inventory levels by analyzing demand, placing orders, and reducing obsolescence and overstock.
  3. Lead, train, and support parts department staff to foster a productive and customer-focused work environment.
  4. Collaborate closely with the service and sales departments to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to increase parts sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely deliveries and favorable terms.
  7. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including inventory turns, gross profit margins, and fill rates.
  8. Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer requirements, and all applicable industry standards.
  9. Resolve parts-related issues and customer concerns with professionalism and a solutions-first mindset.

Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of experience in a parts management or senior parts counter role in an automotive dealership or repair facility.
  2. Strong understanding of parts inventory systems, ordering processes, and vendor management.
  3. Experience using dealership management systems (DMS) and parts lookup software.
  4. Effective leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  5. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  6. OEM and manufacturer training certifications preferred but not required.
