Rockwall County Volkswagen is seeking an experienced and results-driven Service Director to lead our service department. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of service operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction while maintaining high-quality service standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve service revenue and customer retention.
• Lead, train, and motivate the service team, including advisors, technicians, and porters.
• Monitor and analyze department performance, setting goals and tracking key performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, dealership policies, and industry regulations.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and implementing service improvements.
• Work closely with parts, sales, and finance departments to ensure seamless dealership operations.
• Oversee warranty and repair processes, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
• Manage service department expenses and budgets effectively.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, technology, and best practices to enhance department performance.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Director, Service Manager, or similar leadership role in an automotive dealership.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to drive service revenue and efficiency.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with dealership management software and service tools.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service management.

Physical Demands
