Toyota of Pharr is seeking a results-driven, experienced Service Director to lead our high-volume service department, handling over 3,000+ repair orders per month. Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the service team to achieve top-tier performance.
  • Oversee service department operations, including workflow management, technician efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor sales, service gross profit, and customer retention.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies, warranty requirements, and dealership procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service, retention, and CSI scores.
  • Manage department budgets while driving efficiency and profitability.
  • Foster a collaborative culture between service, parts, and other dealership departments.
  • Implement ongoing training programs to enhance employee skills and elevate service quality.
  • Address customer concerns promptly, ensuring high satisfaction and resolution of service issues.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Service Director, Service Manager, or in a senior leadership role within a dealership.
  • Prior experience in a high-volume service department (3,000+ repair orders per month) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dealership service operations, warranty procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements, set department goals, and drive performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and service software.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service management.
  • Toyota brand experience or other high-volume manufacturer experience is highly preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced, high-volume dealership setting.
  • Requires frequent interaction with technicians, service advisors, and customers.
  • May involve occasional movement in and around the service shop.
