Sales Director – Mathews Nissan
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director to lead and manage the sales operations of our automotive dealership. The Sales Director is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, driving revenue growth, and leading a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed targets.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve dealership revenue and market share objectives
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales management team and sales consultants to optimize performance and customer satisfaction
Analyze sales metrics, forecast trends, and generate reports for senior management to support business decisions
Collaborate with the marketing department to create and support promotional initiatives and lead-generation campaigns
Ensure effective inventory management, including vehicle ordering and aging inventory control
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships to promote long-term loyalty and repeat business
Conduct regular performance evaluations and training sessions to ensure team members are aligned with company goals and industry standards
Maintain compliance with manufacturer programs and dealership policies
Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to stay ahead in the market
Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of driving high-performance sales teams in the automotive industry. Must demonstrate sound decision-making and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Education and/or Experience
Minimum of 5 years of automotive sales management experience, preferably in a director-level role
Proven experience in achieving and exceeding sales targets
Valid Driver’s License (must be insurable)
